Taser Beats Another Product Liability Suit

Law360, New York (April 14, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Taser International Inc. has won summary judgment of another lawsuit over its electric stunners, bringing the number of dismissed wrongful death and injury actions against the company to 68.

Judge Preston Bailey of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of West Virginia agreed to toss Michael Molina’s product liability suit against Taser on Friday, saying the plaintiff failed to support his claim that the stunner used on him was defective.
