ICN Offers New Merger Analysis Recommendations

Law360, New York (April 16, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- The International Competition Network, a group that comprises various antitrust agencies from developed and developing nations around the world, adopted new recommendations for improving merger analysis at its seventh annual conference this week.

The conference, held Monday through Wednesday in Kyoto, Japan, highlighted the work of various working groups that addressed antitrust enforcement and policy issues, such as the Merger Working Group, which presented a report that resulted in the ICN’s adoption of three new recommended practices for merger analysis.
