End Of The Line For Norgren, SMC Patent Spat

Law360, New York (April 18, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- The U.S. International Trade Commission has closed the book on a patent dispute between SMC Corp. and Norgren Inc. over devices used in compressed-air systems, declining to review an earlier ruling that SMC did not infringe Norgren's patents.

“Having examined the record of this investigation ... the commission has determined not to review the [administrative law judge's] determination and has terminated this investigation with a finding of no violation,” the commission said in a statement.
