Fed. Circ. Rejects Petition Alleging Vaccines Led To Autism

Law360, New York (May 9, 2014, 6:23 PM EDT) -- The Federal Circuit on Friday refused to take up a woman's case against the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services alleging her son's autism was caused by vaccines he had received, affirming a lower court's order finding her suit is time-barred.

The appeals court denied Chandra D. Price's petition for review of the U.S. Court of Federal Claims' order, which also rejected her motion for review of a special master's decision dismissing her suit. Price alleged violations of the Vaccine Act, claiming that her son's autism was caused by vaccines.
