Creditors Blast Coldwater Creek's 'Rushed' Ch. 11 Case

Law360, Wilmington (May 14, 2014, 8:10 PM EDT) -- The creditors committee in the Coldwater Creek Inc. bankruptcy blasted the debtor's disclosure statement, and by extension its Chapter 11 plan, on Wednesday, arguing that the liquidating women's clothing retailer is moving too fast to try to seek approval of a “patently unconfirmable plan.”

In a motion before the Delaware bankruptcy court, the official committee of unsecured creditors contend that Coldwater Creek is in a headlong rush to try to confirm a plan it argues cuts unfunded creditors a raw deal.
