U.K. Regulators To Publish Joint Merger Rules

Law360, New York (April 22, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- The United Kingdom’s two competition regulators, the Office of Fair Trading and the Competition Commission, are working together to review their respective merger guidelines and create one complete set of rules.

The regulators said Tuesday that they would be reviewing their current rules and creating the single set of merger analysis guidelines out of material currently found in the OFT’s and CC’s principal publications on mergers.
