Judge Denies Wachovia's Bid To Enjoin Ex-Employees

Law360, New York (April 23, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A federal judge has thrown out a case in which Wachovia Bank NA sought to block four of its former employees and Banc of America Investment Services Inc. from soliciting Wachovia's customers and employees using what it said was the company's confidential information.

On Monday, U.S. District Judge James R. Spencer signed off on a memorandum opinion that said Wachovia had not shown it would be irreparably harmed if the court didn't grant its request for a temporary restraining order or a preliminary injunction.
