11th Circ. Tosses Sentence of HealthSouth Controller

Law360, New York (April 23, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- In light of a recent U.S. Supreme Court decision granting more sentencing latitude to lower courts, an appeals court has reviewed the sentence of the former assistant controller and chief information officer of HealthSouth Corp., vacating his reduced sentence again, this time because of a procedural error.
