Jones Day Adds 3 Patton Boggs Election Law Partners In DC
By Kira Lerner (May 30, 2014, 3:04 PM EDT) -- Jones Day said on Friday it has strengthened its government regulation practice in Washington, D.C., with the addition of three election and political law partners from Patton Boggs LLP, including the former chairman of the Federal Election Commission.
Benjamin Ginsberg, Donald McGahn and William McGinley will join the firm on Monday with experience in representing political parties, political campaigns, candidates and members of Congress, among others on election law and related issues, the firm said in a statement. McGahn, nominated by President George W. Bush in 2008, also served as chairman of the FEC until 2013.
