Ontario Court Shuts Down Vitamin Antitrust Case

Law360, New York (April 28, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- An Ontario, Canada, court has shot down an attempt by a Toronto man and his lawyer to revive a major price-fixing case against vitamin suppliers Hoffmann-La Roche Ltd. and BASF Canada.

Earlier this month, Judge Paul Perell of the Ontario Superior Court of Justice ordered Lars Ingmar Soderstrom and his attorney, J. Perry Borden, to fork over nearly $79,000 in legal costs to Hoffmann and BASF.
