Quest Diagnostics To Give Workers Back Wages

Law360 (April 28, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Quest Diagnostics Inc. has agreed to fork over nearly $689,000 in back wages in a bid to settle claims by employees that the medical diagnostic testing company misclassified them as exempt from overtime requirements.

The U.S. Department of Labor said Monday that the Madison, N.J.-based Quest will pay 238 employees across the country a total of $688,772 in overtime back wages due under the Fair Labor Standards Act.
