Dreier Bankruptcy Trustee, Attys Seek $18M In Fees

Law360, Los Angeles (June 5, 2014, 8:41 PM EDT) -- The trustee for defunct Park Avenue law firm Dreier LLP, along with her lawyers, financial advisers and consultants, asked a New York bankruptcy judge last week for almost $18 million for their work recovering $79 million for the firm’s estate.

Trustee Sheila M. Gowan of Sadowski Discher PLLC asked for at least $1.2 million, writing that she found the firm to be “in total disarray” when she was first appointed in late 2008, but that she eventually disbursed $65 million.
