FDA Panel Says LASIK Merits Stronger Warnings

Law360, New York (April 29, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- The U.S. Food and Drug Administration is reportedly planning to issue a stronger warning about the risks associated with the popular vision-correcting LASIK eye surgery following a panel meeting on Friday.

The FDA's Ophthalmic Devices Panel met on Friday to discuss LASIK's impact on patients' quality of life, the Associated Press and others reported.
