Pepco Asks FERC To Change PJM's Peak Hour Tariffs

Law360, New York (April 30, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Mid-Atlantic energy provider Pepco Energy Services Inc. has asked the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission to change transmission company PJM Interconnection LLC's rules governing peak hour charges, contending that the rules are unjust and discriminatory.

In a complaint filed with the commission on April 22, Pepco is asking the commission to strike several provisions of PJM's rules on peak hour period availability charges for infrequently-run generation resources.
