Fee Auditor Backs Weil Gotshal's $3.3M Request

Law360, New York (May 5, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- The auditor overseeing fee requests in the Federal-Mogul Corp. bankruptcy case has given his blessing to Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP's bid for more than $3 million in wages for its work on behalf of the official committee of asbestos property damage claimants in the auto parts manufacturer's Chapter 11 case.

Court-appointed fee auditor Warren H. Smith signed off Friday on Weil's 25th and final fee application, according to the report provided to the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware.
