Wal-Mart Shields Itself In U.K. Supermarket Probe

Law360, New York (May 5, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Wal-Mart Stores Inc. has reportedly blown the whistle on a group of Britain's largest supermarket chains and some of the world's largest consumer goods manufacturers that stand accused of price-fixing in the U.K.'s supermarket industry, giving the retail giant immunity from a potential $37 billion in fines.
