Airline, Skycaps Continue To Spar Over Tips

Law360, New York (May 5, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Nine skycaps who won a $325,000 jury verdict on their claims that American Airlines Inc. denied them tips are fighting with the airline again, this time over the legality of American's new policy that forbids tipping at Logan Airport near Boston.

The skycaps filed a motion for an emergency injunction in the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts Thursday, saying that the new policy constitutes retaliation. American countersued Friday, saying the plaintiffs are wrong and are unlikely to succeed in thier fight.
