Microsoft Accuses EC Of Bias In Antitrust Case

Law360, New York (March 2, 2006, 12:00 AM EST) -- Microsoft has turned the tables on the European Commission over the antitrust case against the company, alleging that the Commission is concealing evidence and conspiring against the software giant.

Microsoft has sent a letter to the EC claiming that regulators involved in the investigation are biased against the company and are collaborating with other software companies to work against Microsoft.

“The Commission and the trustee cannot fulfill their respective roles as neutral regulator and independent monitor if they are actively and secretly working with Microsoft’s adversaries,”...
