Stelco Reemergence Set For End Of March

Law360, New York (March 2, 2006, 12:00 AM EST) -- After a courtroom outburst last month, a bankruptcy court judge has extended steel company Stelco Inc.’s bankruptcy protection until the end of March.

Ontario Bankruptcy Court Justice James Farley, who last month exploded in a courtroom when lawyers suggested that the company’s exit from bankruptcy would be postponed by another month, extended the company’s exit until March 31, but stipulated that he wanted all key documents signed by March 17.
