Alphatec To Pay $11M In Spinal Screw Patent Deal

Law360 (May 7, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Medical technology company Alphatec Holdings Inc. will cough up $11 million pursuant to a settlement deal that should resolve a 2006 patent suit brought by Biedermann Motech GmbH and Johnson & Johnson unit DePuy Spine Inc. over pedicle screw technology.
