Lilly Fails To Halt Maine Zyprexa Wrongful-Death Suit

Law360, New York (May 8, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A Maine state judge has ruled that Eli Lilly & Co.'s objections to the plaintiffs' expert testimony in a wrongful death suit over blockbuster anti-psychotic Zyprexa may be valid but are better addressed to a jury, allowing the case to move forward.

On Friday, Justice Robert E. Crowley of the Cumberland Superior Court denied Eli Lilly's motions to exclude the plaintiffs' proposed expert testimony and to grant it summary judgment.
