Fed. Circ. Affirms Apple Victory Over Golden Bridge

Law360, San Francisco (July 14, 2014, 5:20 PM EDT) -- Apple Inc. on Monday added to its string of recent victories over patent holders when the Federal Circuit affirmed a Delaware federal court's ruling that the tech titan's iPhones didn't infringe two Golden Bridge Technology Inc. patents on 3G mobile network technology.

The appeals panel affirmed U.S. District Judge Sue L. Robinson's 2013 ruling in favor of Apple, agreeing that Golden Bridge hadn't proven that Apple's 3G mobile devices copied their base-station communications functionality from its patents.
