DaimlerChrysler Begs Court To Keep Amcast Running

Law360, New York (March 6, 2006, 12:00 AM EST) -- As auto suppliers continue to fall like dominoes, DaimlerChrysler rushed to keep bankrupt Amcast Industrial Corp. operating on Friday in response to a creditor request that the auto parts maker be completely shut down.

DaimlerChrysler filed an objection to the creditor motion late last week, promising creditors that an Amcast shutdown would, in the end, only hurt them more.
