Patent Commissioner Promotes Hiring Push

Law360, New York (May 9, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- The U.S. Patent and Trademark Office is taking aggressive measures to boost the number of patent examiners as part of its ongoing efforts to clear a growing backlog of patent applications at the agency, Commissioner for Patents John J. Doll assured a forum of patent attorneys Tuesday.
