SEC Accuses Doctors Of Insider Trading

Law360, New York (May 12, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission has accused three Florida doctors of illegally trading on inside information about IVAX Corp. and Correctional Services Corp.

In the complaint, filed on Monday in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida, the SEC alleged that Dr. Zachariah P. Zachariah received confidential information about IVAX and CSC and then passed the details on to his brother and another doctor.

All three doctors traded on the confidential information, the SEC said.
