Credit Suisse Accused Of Stealing Trade Secrets

Law360, New York (May 15, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Standard Charter Plc subsidiary American Express Bank Ltd. has filed a trade secrets suit against Credit Suisse, claiming to have videotaped a Credit Suisse representative carrying documents out the back exit of the plaintiff's office in Chile.

American Express Bank filed the lawsuit in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida on Tuesday, naming Credit Suisse as the sole defendant. Standard Charter acquired AEB from the American Express Co. in February.
