European Patent Office Cuts Patent Filing Fee, Promotes Global Standard for E-Filing

Law360 (December 10, 2003, 12:00 AM EST) -- The European Patent Office will slash 70 euro from the cost of registering a patent via its online epoline system, EPO President Ingo Kober said at the annual epoline conference in Barcelona.

Kober said the system had been greatly improved to facilitate the submission, monitoring and searching of patent information at national, European and international level.
