Dura's Trade Secrets Claims Must Be Clearer: Judge

Law360, New York (May 16, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- The judge in a trade secrets dispute between Dura Automotive Systems Inc. and Magna Donnelly Corp. has ordered Dura to more clearly describe to the court which trade secrets it is accusing Magna Donnelly of misappropriating.

In response to a motion by Magna Donnelly complaining that Dura's court filings do not list the secrets at issue with “reasonable particularity” as required by the court, U.S. District Judge Mona Majzoub of the Eastern District of Michigan ruled Wednesday that Dura must resubmit its list.
