Gillette Sues Remington Over Dry-Shave Patent

Law360, New York (December 10, 2003, 12:00 AM EST) -- Stepping up its patent litigation, Gillette is suing another company over its shaving gear as it continues to battle rival Schick over its four-blade razor.

Gillette and its Braun GmbH electric shaver manufacturing subsidiary filed a patent infringement lawsuit against Remington Products Company LLC in U.S. District Court in Boston, alleging that Remington's Titanium Smart System dry shaver system represents "an unauthorized use of Braun's patented technology."
