Phillips Wins Landmark Patent Suit Against AWH

Law360, New York (March 13, 2006, 12:00 AM EST) -- Ending a drawn-out chapter in a 15-year-old patent case, a district court jury on Friday found that AWH Corporation, Hopeman Brothers and Lofton Corporation willfully infringed on all four of the claims made by Edward Hood Phillips relating to his patent for vandalism-resistant modular wall panels, and awarded him more than $1.8 million.
