Law360, New York (August 11, 2014, 3:36 PM EDT) -- Smith Gambrell & Russell LLP has solidified its international M&A practice with the addition of a former White & Case LLP partner to its Washington, D.C., office, the firm said Monday.

James J. Black joins SGR as a partner in its corporate and international practice groups, specializing in advising companies from non-U.S. countries, especially Germany, Austria and Switzerland, on legal matters relating to their U.S. operations, the firm said in a statement.
