Cognex Scores In Patent Battle Against Veritec

Law360, New York (May 21, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A federal judge ruled Monday that a patent covering a type of scanner was invalid and unenforceable, handing a victory to technology company Cognex Corp. in its battle against what it says were improper attempts by Veritec Inc. and Acacia Research Corp. to enforce that patent.
