Dow, Rockwell Hit With $900M Verdict In Nuclear Suit

Law360, New York (May 21, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Plaintiffs who lived near a defunct nuclear plant in Colorado will get $376.8 million plus interest on an 18-year-old suit against Dow Chemical Co. and Rockwell International, a federal judge ruled on Thursday.

Judge John L. Kane of the U.S. District Court for the District of Colorado upheld a 2006 jury verdict against the two companies for their roles as former operators of the Rocky Flats nuclear manufacturing plant.
