Plastics Maker Sues Rival Over Home Depot Kickbacks

Law360, New York (May 21, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- An Ohio-based plastics company is suing a Chinese competitor alleging it bribed Home Depot buyers in exchange for the exclusive purchase of its ceiling panels.

In the lawsuit, filed Monday in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Ohio, Plaskolite Inc. accuses Zhejiang Taizhou Eagle Machinery Co. Ltd of paying secret kickbacks to keep its competitor's version off Home Depot shelves.
