Chiron, Roxane Settle Suit Over Tobramycin Patent

Law360, New York (October 14, 2003, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Biotech company Chiron Corporation and Children's Hospital and Regional Medical Center of Seattle have settled a patent infringement suit against Roxane Laboratories, a subsidiary of Boehringer-Ingelheim Corporation, Chiron said in a statement released Tuesday.

The suit concerned Roxane's plans to market a generic equivalent of TOBI tobramycin solution for inhalation, which has been patented by Chiron and Children's Hospital.
