Enron Whistle-Blower Takes Stand

Law360, New York (March 15, 2006, 12:00 AM EST) -- Sherron Watkins, Enron Corp. whistle-blower and former vice president of corporate development, testified Wednesday about a meeting with founder Ken Lay in August 2001 in which she voiced her concerns that an accounting scandal would ruin the company.

After that meeting, Lay responded with a phony investigation and by looked into ways to terminate her, she alleged.
