Senate To Weigh Cost Of Key Climate Change Bill

Law360, New York (May 22, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- The U.S. Senate will begin its much-anticipated debate Monday on a climate change bill that would reduce the country's greenhouse gas emissions by up to 66% through a cap-and-trade program.

At this point, it is unclear what the bill's chances are for passing, but emotions on both sides of the aisle are running high.
