Camouflage Gear Co. Sues For Design Theft

Law360, New York (May 27, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Montana Camo Inc., a former supplier for Cabela's Inc., has sued the outdoor recreation retailer for trademark and copyright infringement, claiming that Cabela's new line of camouflage hunting gear copied Montana Camo's copyrighted designs.

According to the suit, filed Friday in the District of Montana, Montana Camo had a business relationship with Cabela's from 2000 to 2006, in which Cabela's sold Montana Camo products, including a line called “Open Country,” in its catalogs and stores.
