By Andrew Strickler (September 15, 2014, 7:01 PM EDT) -- The upward trajectory of BigLaw equity partner paychecks continues, according to a survey released Monday, with average compensation this year approaching the $1 million mark.
The 2014 Partner Compensation Survey from legal recruiting firm Major Lindsey & Africa also found a widening gap between payouts to equity partners and those on the non-equity tier, with the wedge driven by equity partners' stronger ability to lure business in the door.
