Philly Paramedics Eligible For Overtime: 3rd Circuit

Law360, New York (May 30, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Notching a victory in its long-running legal battle to recover overtime compensation, a group of more than 300 Philadelphia Fire Department paramedics has convinced an appeals court that the paramedics qualify for overtime pay, despite a federal labor rules exemption that denies overtime pay to firefighters.
