Wyeth Sues Sandoz Over Contraceptive Patent

Law360, New York (May 30, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Wyeth has sued another rival for infringing its patent for contraceptive Lybrel, this time filing a lawsuit against Sandoz Inc.

In a lawsuit filed Wednesday in the U.S. District Court for the District of Delaware, Wyeth said that Sandoz filed an abbreviated new drug application that infringes on its patent for the drug.
