Werner Faces Contempt Charge Over Doc Production

Law360, New York (June 2, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- The litigation designee in ladder maker Werner Holding Co.'s bankruptcy proceedings has asked the court to find the company's spin-off, New Werner Holding Co. Inc., in contempt for filing electronic production that was late and “grossly inadequate.”

In April, the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware ordered New Werner to produce all records and information from 1997 to 2007 so that the litigation designee could input it into a professional database for fully functional concordance.
