District Judge Joins Jones Day's Trial Practice

Law360 (June 2, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- District Court Judge Walter D. Kelley Jr. has stepped down from the bench to join Jones Day as a partner in the international firm's trial practice in its Washington, D.C., office.

Kelley, who served as a judge in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia since 2004, will focus his practice mostly on intellectual property litigation, although he plans to work on anything that comes his way, he said Tuesday.
