DOJ Veteran Accuses Agency of Racial Bias

Law360, New York (June 4, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A longtime paralegal at the U.S. Department of Justice has sued the agency for racial discrimination, accusing the DOJ of routinely passing her over for promotion because she is black.

Jo Hyatte on Thursday filed suit in the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia, charging the DOJ with racial bias after more than 13 years on the job.
