Trial Looms In e-Plus, SAP Patent Spat

Law360, New York (March 24, 2006, 12:00 AM EST) -- Nearly a year after filing suit, ePlus Inc. will finally get its day in court against German-based software manufacturer SAP AG, as the patent infringement lawsuit over electronic procurement systems heads to trial on Tuesday.

The proceedings will begin this week in U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia, following a judge’s January ruling that the case should advance to the trial stage.
