Mintz Levin Sued For Malpractice Over EEOC Suit

Law360, New York (June 10, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Mintz, Levin, Cohn, Ferris, Glovsky and Popeo PC has been hit with a malpractice suit by a New Hampshire-based information technology company that accuses the law firm of failing to provide proper advice in defense of an employment suit.

The company, Cubic Wafer Inc., claims Mintz Levin neglected to notify its insurer about a charge of discrimination filed against it with the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, exposing the company to “substantial” ligation costs.
