Global M&A Activity To Continue Surge Into 2015, Report Says

Law360, New York (October 21, 2014, 3:30 PM EDT) -- Mergers and acquisitions activity is expected to continue surging through the end of the year and into the first quarter of 2015, despite hiccups in the markets in recent weeks after growth in M&A activity led by the Asia-Pacific region, according to a report released Monday.

M&A data tracker Intralinks Inc.'s Deal Flow Predictor report said North America continues to show the "strongest sustained growth in M&A activity so far this year" with 18.7 percent growth rate over the last four quarters, based on data compiled through the third quarter of 2014. The Europe, Middle East and Africa region has 16.2 percent...
