EPA Gives Recalled Lawn Products Clean Bill

Law360, New York (June 11, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- After a brief scare, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency has deemed safe a group of Scott's Miracle-Gro products that were pulled from the shelves in April due to unregistered herbicides.

On Tuesday, the EPA said that in conjunction with the Ohio Department of Agriculture it had found the lawn items to be as safe as their legally registered counterparts.
