Trimble Sues TracerNet Over GPS System for Cement Trucks

Law360 (October 14, 2003, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Trimble has filed suit against TracerNet Corporation of Chantilly, Virginia in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia for patent infringement, Trimble said in a statement.

The complaint concerns a patented auto-status technology used in Trimble's Telvisant Fleet Management System for the ready-mix concrete market. Trimble unveiled the system, which features functions for programmable events such as "leave plant," "pour begin," and "return to plant," in March 2002 at the ConExpo-Con/Agg trade show.
