EPA's Risk Assessment Changes 'Orwellian': NRDC

Law360, New York (June 12, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- The Natural Resources Defense Council is lashing out at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's revised method of assessing the risk of toxic chemicals, telling lawmakers on Thursday that the changes would allow the White House to delay scientific assessments of chemicals’ health risks and hinder opportunities for public comment and scientific debate.
